Get Started Early on Your New Year's Resolutions

new years get started.jpgDid you know that you have a distinct advantage if you get started on your New Year's weight loss resolutions this week?

Seriously. Although most gyms don't advertise it, December is one of the slowest months of the year and they typically waive all sorts of fees to get you to join before the New Year's rush. In order to make their numbers they'll often waive initiation/sign-up fees and even give you a huge discount for signing up for one full year.

At the very least you'll be able to lock in their lowest rates of 2010 and I bet you may be able to get a month free added on to your deal as well.

The other reason I think now is a great time to get started is so that you can begin to transition into your New Year's weight loss resolution and not have all the pressure of beginning when January 2nd comes around. Make this the year you finally commit to keeping the weight off permanently and don't wait around for everyone else to get started!
